Biography: -

Third Wave aka Matt Gall released his first four singles with the Greenwich record company 'Label Spinners'. His style has been compared to that of Matt Darey, Ferry Corsten and Paul Van Dyk for his weaving melodies and pumping trance style beats. Matt also records under other pseudonyms like 'The Afterglow' with his brother Simon who sings. He writes and remixes tracks in many different styles of dance music like ambient, disco, house and Hard House. Not limited just to electronic dance music, he also writes music and lyrics, plays guitar, keyboard, a little drums and is song writer and bass player for rock band 'Tonic' who have played extensively throughout London...

Third Wave is Roland's official UK and European Master of the Groove... The UK competition finals were held on 23rd Feb 2000 at Mr C's club 'The End' and were judged by Hybrid (the Welsh massive) and Jon Digweed (Bedrock/Twilo). The European Competition was held in April at Frankfurt and saw Third Wave fend off 10 other Countries to take the prize worth £4,500. There was a panel of 6 judges, including DJ Tiesto, DJ Taucher and Kai Tracid (No. 1 DJ in Europe) who swiftly negotiated the international license of 'Then Comes Night...' for his label 'Tracid Traxxx/Angel Dust'.

Matt is currently establishing his new label 'Thirdwave Records' to showcase his music, and is releasing a new track (with mixes) every month. He has recently remixed work for Kaliber Records in Sweden and has licensed 2 tracks for release on 'Northern Spirit Recordings'...

His releases are receiving interest and airplay from many top labels and DJs around the world including Pete Wardman (Kiss FM), Graham Gold (Kiss FM), Seb Fontaine (Radio One/Spot On), Jon Digweed (Bedrock), Hybrid (Dist'inctive), Daz Saund (Ultimate/Turnmills), Kai Tracid (Tracid Traxxx), Tony H (Radio Italia Network), DJ Pure (Couleur 3), Stewart Rowell (Thumper/Neo), Jason Ellis (Positiva) to mention but a few... He is also receiving acclaim from many magazines all over Europe, mainly in Germany and Italy, which has prompted him to visit Milan and Frankfurt in April 2001…
